How is Liposuction Performed?
A few tiny incision holes are made in the areas which need treatment and a surgeon inserts a cannula, which is a hollow tube, into the deep fat layer in order to remove the fat from various parts of the body. Areas of which can be conducted include the abdomen, love-handles, thighs, buttocks, arms and back.
Surgeons make tunnels in the layer of the fat in order to suck out fat-cells with a cannula. For the liposuction surgery, surgeons pull out fat cells out of the body. After this procedure, the surgical area rarely reverts back to its original state.
Liposuction for Various Areas
On the front and side of the abdomen, fat deposits easily develop. As one ages, it gets harder to remove the fat. Liposuction gives a dramatic effect in removing the unnecessary fat. Mostly both the upper and lower part of the abdomen gains fat. This procedure not only reduces fat tissues, also called as “lipocyte”, but also prevents potential adult diseases.
Mostly, side fats develop in conjunction with development of fat in both the upper and lower part of the abdomen. Liposuction can be applied to the side including the abdomen and the back area.
Thighs do not usually have muscles which are developed when compared to other areas of the body. Fats are easily deposited around the front, back, and side parts of the thighs, hips and knees. It is hard to burn the fat which is gained on the thighs, since this area has poor blood circulation. Extra fat on the outer side of the thighs appear commonly in females with lower body obesity.
Inner part of the arm is where there is least movement, thus it is one of the hardest areas to burn fat. Liposuction on this area needs extra careful skill because the nerves and blood vessels are situated close to the skin. Removing fat deposits evenly from both arms is the most important part of arm liposuction. The key point is to remove enough fats from the inner part of the arm to achieve a straight and smooth line.
